Warwick Slade
Warwick Slade, folk icon of the late fifty's and early sixty's, has returned to his roots after many years wandering in the wilderness. His talents, singing and guitar playing are as they always were, suspect. His song writing is as pithy and sharp- as every. Catch him ever Thursday at the world famous Wimborne Sessions to find out how it's really done. His new CD Warwick Slade-Live at the Poole Crematorium release date has been postponed due to technical problems. (It's Crap)

This web site is dedicated to one of the all time greats of the British folk revival. Brinton Tollbar gave a potted life story on the History Page and some of his latest songs are given an airing on the Lyrics Page. Also check out the tour dates.
The Wimborne Sessions Page has a special significance as this was the club that saved Warwick’s life after illness. It gave him a purpose in life and their friendship has sustained him and projected him back to his rightful place, at the top. Some of those old folkers are featured on the Photo Gallery Page
Finally the current Mrs Slade has her own page dedicated to bridge and the curse of grandchildren
